Bella Thorne

Jessica Lowndes

Celebrities and VIPs invaded Palm Springs to kick off their weekend at the Camelvalley Pool Party at the Hard Rock Music Lounge yesterday. Guests had a surprising welcome with Lulu, the live camel, guarding the entrance where celebrities such as Rumer Willis with boyfriend Jayson Blair, Jessica Lowndes, Audrina Patridge, Ryan Kwanten, and Josh Henderson couldn’t help but stop by and snap a photo with their new desert friend.

Rumor Willis shopped for Carlo Pazolini shoes while boyfriend Jayson Blair enjoyed a salad from the Corzo Cocina presented by Corzo Tequila. Upon arriving at the music lounge, True Blood's Ryan Kwanten took time to sign the Barefoot Refresh surfboard that's being donated at the end of the weekend to the Surfrider Foundation to help keep beaches Barefoot friendly. A fan of the charity already, Ryan made sure to select where he signed his name carefully – at the nose of the board – and included a cute note under his signature, "toes on the nose."

Disney star Bella Thorne was excited to run into Pretty Little Liar’s Tyler Blackburn at the Hard Rock Music Lounge where she expressed her love for the show while posing for a quick photo. Bella enjoyed the music provided by the Missguided DJ lounge before stopping by the Missguided suite upstairs where she admired their newest summer collection. Meanwhile on the pool deck, Jessica Lowndes was pampered by Clearasil’s RAPID + RAD Retreat while she got festival-ready at their braid bar.

Poolside entertainment included DJ sets by Martin Vidal, Danny & Chris Masterson (aka DJ Mom Jeans & Chris Kennedy), Franco V, and White Light White Heat (members of The Strokes) as well as performances by Magic Wands, Mac Demarco, and St. Lucia.

Guests were also able to enjoy fun activations from Jabra, Club Create, District Clothing, Stoney Clover Lane, Qream, 42 Below, Travelocity, Pioneer, Hint Water, That Madonna Girl, Well Kept, Owl’s Brew, Pax, and Gents.
