Kenny Chesney

The Greenbrier, the classic American resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV, has announced that rock 'n' roll legends Aerosmith will join the already star-studded musical lineup, including country music superstar Kenny Chesney, at The Greenbrier Classic Concert Series, July 1-7, 2013.

The Concert Series, which coincides with the resort's fourth annual PGA TOUR FedEx Cup Event, The Greenbrier Classic, will be capped by Aerosmith's performance on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the State Fair of West Virginia amphitheater in Fairlea.

Aerosmith, the best-selling American rock 'n' roll band of all time (with more than 150 million albums sold worldwide), is fronted by lead singer Steven Tyler, with Joe Perry and Brad Whitford on guitars, Tom Hamilton on bass, and Joey Kramer on drums. These Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, who also hold the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums by any American musical group, have been selling out arenas around the world for more than 40 years. The legendary rockers are currently on tour with "The Global Warming World Tour" in support of their latest hit album, Music from Another Dimension!

"What could be better than having the most legendary American band of all time rock the 4th of July weekend at America's Resort?" asks Jim Justice, owner of The Greenbrier. "Aerosmith has provided the soundtrack of American summers for decades, just as The Greenbrier has been the ultimate summer retreat for generations--and both have never been better!"

Admission to the star-studded Greenbrier Classic Concert Series is included in the price of weekly Greenbrier Classic tournament badges, which are now priced at $159 per person (a reduction to the original base price of the first Greenbrier Classic). Those who have already purchased tournament badges at the $199 level can call (888) 598-7380 to receive a $40 voucher (to be redeemed at The Greenbrier and The Greenbrier Classic) or a $40 cash refund.

"We owe so much of our success to the people of this region that we wanted to once again bring tribute to the two Virginias," says Justice. "We hope that this new discounted price will enable as many as possible to enjoy the wonderful Greenbrier Classic and the all-time greatest American rock 'n' roll band."
