STEVEN MARCANO HOLDINGS GROUP MAKES A IMPACT IN TELEVISION, FILM & RETAIL

For the past two decades, Steven Marcano has been successful with My Lil Star Baby Products, and most recently, since 2014, Knockout Television. 
The SMH Group has secured a development deal with a television network that is in over 81 million homes.This prestigious network has been tapped to air Season 4 of Knockout. According to sources, the SMH Group is casting present champions as well as boxing legends such as 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist/Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion and Heavyweight Champion Michael Spinks, to appear in Knockout.
Marcano is also working on foreign distribution deals for My Lil Star Diapers, in addition to the funding being in place for his first film project, Fighting Love.

Superstar Leonardo Dicaprio is regretting not introducing himself to River Phoenix at a Halloween party, because hours later, Phoenix lost his life outside a Los Angeles California nightclub. DiCaprio was at the beginning of his Hollywood career when he spied his longtime hero Phoenix was at a party on Halloween night. The up and coming star, who was 18 at the time, was desperate to corner his idol for a chat but didn’t have time to approach Phoenix before he left the bash. And DiCaprio will always remember the missed opportunity, because 23-year-old Phoenix collapsed and died from a drug overdose outside the Viper Room a few hours later. Jean Shafiroff, prominent philanthropist and author of Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life by What You Give, hosted her fifth annual holiday luncheon, this time at Omar at Vaucluse. The luncheon was held in honor of the New York City Mission Society, and in true holiday spirit, Shafiroff made a generous donation in honor of the guests who attended.

Manhattan philanthropist Jean Shafiroff warns against buying into the sugarplum fairy hype. “You have to manage your expectations,” says Shafiroff. “If you’re a person of privilege, be grateful for what you have, even if it doesn’t match the fantasy. A lot of people are lonely and in great need around the holidays. Be compassionate and give what you can.”
Shafiroff has made her mark as a volunteer fundraiser and leader in the charity sphere. She came to philanthropy after earning undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia University, working in a hospital and finance on Wall Street, and raising two daughters. The fourth annual BroadwayCon was held at the Midtown Hilton this past weekend. Thousands of theater fans from around the world participated in the three-day expo where fans met and interacted with their favorite Broadway stars. The event included showcases of some of Broadway's newest and most exciting shows, one-on-one workshops with the next generation of up-and-coming performers, autograph sessions, a marketplace, panels and discussions about the current state of Broadway as well as the future of Broadway. 

One panel titled, ”An Artist’s Perspective of Stage to Screen” was a conversation about the future of capturing stage performances for new musicals. BroadwayHD founders, Bonnie Comley and Stewart F.
