2011 MAC and Bistro Award winner KEVIN DOZIER presents “LOVE’S NEVER LOST” on Monday, February 11th at 7 PM at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NYC.

Joining Kevin on stage at The Metropolitan Room will be Musical Director/pianist Alex Rybeck with John Redsecker on drums, Jered Egan on Bass, and Sean Harkness on Guitars.

This one-night-only engagement introduces Kevin’s new CD, “LOVE’S NEVER LOST”, produced by Paul Rolnick, which features arrangements and musical direction by Alex Rybeck. Kevin said “The songs I’ve selected are about the many stages of love. They range from Edward’s and Raleigh’s ‘Wonderful! Wonderful!’ and Ann Hampton Callaway’s ‘Perfect’ to the first commercial release of Ahrens and Flaherty’s ‘Love’s Never Lost’ from their musical A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE and an original song by Carol Hall and Alex Rybeck called ‘Hold to My Hand’.”

Kevin’s highly praised debut CD, “Love-Wise” was included on many Top 10 lists including’s Top Ten Vocal Albums of 2009 and WHLI Radio’s Top 50 Albums of 2009. Produced and arranged by Christopher Marlowe, “Love-Wise” features love songs from the Great American Songbook.

The February 11th engagement at The Metropolitan Room is Kevin’s first appearance at the popular club in two years following successful runs at Feinstein’s, The Laurie Beechman Theater and Don’t Tell Mama. Kevin returned to NYC in 2005 after 10 years in San Francisco where he was named ‘Male Cabaret Performer of the Year”. In 2008 Kevin made his NYC cabaret debut at Don’t Tell Mama followed by several successful runs at The Metropolitan Room, earning him a 2009 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Debut Performance
