KYLIE MINOQUE ADDED TO NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced that Kylie Minogue, Ne-Yo, Il Volo, Milow, Fanfare Ciocarlia & OqueStrada are the final set of artists to perform at the 19th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Tuesday, December 11th in Oslo, Norway at the Oslo Spektrum arena. They join previously announced artists Jennifer Hudson, Seal, Karpe Diem, Laleh and Susanne Sundfor. This year’s concert, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and Gerard Butler, features artists from all corners of Europe in addition to international stars.



This year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert will honor the European Union (EU) "for having over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe." The award is given annually to an individual or organization whose work exemplifies a spirit of hope and leadership that will help promote peace in the world. The Concert is presented by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert AS and broadcast to a global audience.

The Nobel Peace Prize is the most prestigious award in the world, honoring icons such as Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Barack Obama, Kofi Annan, Al Gore and other remarkable individuals and organizations. For the past eighteen years, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony has been followed the next day by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, a musical celebration honoring the laureate.
