Celebrity chef and author of The Farm, Ian Knauer is on a mission to find local ingredients for the ultimate Thanksgiving meal in TASTEMAKERS, the new web-series brought to you by TakePart.com, the team behind Food, Inc. Using those businesses identified by TakePart.com’s list of local Los Angeles businesses providing “Food Done Right,” Knauer not only finds healthy ingredients, he also experiences the artisanal quality products from individuals like Erika Nakamura and Amelia Posada of Lindy & Grundy who have dedicated their lives to producing quality, sustainable and local food that is truly an art form.
“Discovering any great local artisan producer is always thrilling, but the team at TakePart has culled 100 from all over the country,” says Chef Ian Knauer. “I feel lucky to be able to taste their wares first hand and cook an incredible Thanksgiving meal featuring their awesome products.
