Lucky, the magazine about style and how you get it, has rescheduled LUCKY SHOPS 2012, New York’s ultimate shopping event, in partnership with American Express®. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy and out of concern for all of those affected, the brand has opted to suspend the VIP Charity Shopping Night on November 1st, hosted by two-time Grammy® Award-winning recording artist Jennifer Hudson at 82Mercer in New York City, as well as the two consumer shopping days on November 2nd and 3rd.
“The safety of everyone is our first priority and our thoughts are with those affected, which is why we feel it is necessary to postpone LUCKYSHOPS,” said Lucky’s Vice President and Publisher, Marcy Bloom.
The event will now take place December 6th, 7th and 8th at 82Mercer in New York City.
“Considering the tragedy that has affected downtown Manhattan we will be adding an additional charitable component to support victims of Hurricane Sandy through a Lucky Fund. We look forward to shopping with everyone in December,” added Bloom.
