In honor of Veteran’s day the other day, Got Your 6, a Hollywood-backed campaign devoted to changing the conversation surrounding veterans. Got Your 6 is a military term that means “I’ve got your back.” 

Their event was a huge success! Lead by Got Your 6 Managing Director Chris Marvin and national veteran nonprofit, The Mission Continues, over 250 veterans, volunteers and celebs such as NBCU President and COO, Ron Meyer, JJ Abrams, Tom Arnold, Jon Favreau, Hannah Simone, Brandon Routh and more spent Friday morning filling more than 5,000 backpacks with food for food-insecure children. These backpacks were then delivered to more than a dozen LAUSD schools.
