Surprisingly, Hollywood's latest breakout star isn't a young ingénue or an abdominally blessed heartthrob. The hottest thing to hit "Tinsletown" can, however, be seen on every major red carpet and in the covers of magazines. That's right-Palladium, a precious metal more rare than gold, will be the talk of the town come Awards Season as the arm candy for many A-list personalities.

Celebrity bride-to-be Katrina Bowden, star of the hit NBC sitcom 30 Rock, is just one of many A-list fans who can be seen around town sporting this hot, new precious metal (see attached photos). Bowden, who was recently proposed to by singer Ben Jorgensen, opted for the "something blue" portion of her wedding ensemble, a blue topaz stone, to be delicately placed on a monogrammed Palladium necklace made by Sorella Jewelry.
