One River School of Art and Design will be hosting its Grand Opening events Saturday September 1st and Sunday September 2nd from 12 noon to 5PM each day. One River’s state of the art building will provide host to a weekend long series of special events that include free workshops, tours, demonstrations and special promotions.

The One River Story is about passion for art and today’s digital possibilities. When you look at the abundance of innovative programs in New York City and the dearth that exists just “one river” west, it is clear where their motivation comes from. The One River School concept is based on some important tenets: they believe that people in New Jersey want access to the same amazing creative experiences that exist in abundance across the river. They are motivated to teach art and design in the most authentic and inspirational ways. They want to provide these experiences at an affordable price near home.

“It has taken two years to develop One River and I am thrilled to celebrate our grand opening during Labor Day weekend”, says Founder Matt Ross. “As summer winds down, we believe that our program will offer a very exciting reason for adults and kids to engage in learning and creating in the most compelling center for art and digital programs one river west of New York City.”

Focused on the importance of lifelong creative learning, One River School offers a wide variety of classes and programs for adults and kids in a state of the art facility in Englewood, NJ. The space is also home to One River Gallery, a contemporary art gallery dedicated to presenting the most innovative exhibits just west of NYC.
