LUKE JAMES SPARKLES AT BET HONORS 2012
Last night, R&B recording artist Luke James wowed audiences across the country with his first national television performance as a part of BET Honors 2012 on BET Networks. Showcasing his arresting falsetto and dynamic stage presence with his debut single "I Want You," the New Orleans native brought the star-studded crowd at DC's Warner Theatre to their feet with roaring applause, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, L.A. Reid, Maya Angelou, Terrence Howard, Aretha Franklin, Kelly Rowland, Common, Queen Latifah, Cicely Tyson, Gabrielle Union, Ledisi, Willow Smith, and original Tuskegee Airmen.

Currently touring with Estelle on the BET Music Matters Tour, Luke James is putting the finishing touches on his debut album, Made To Love, out this Spring. Luke James has also appeared in featured roles in Beyonce's "Run the World" and Melanie Fiona's "4 A.M." music videos, and is the co-writer of Chris Brown’s “Crawl” and has penned songs for Justin Bieber (“That Should Be Me”), Michael Bolton, and Britney Spears (“Kill The Lights”).
