DJ Susan Levine I am so excited about heading to Cherry Grove Fire Island today for two reasons. First of all, I'm staying at my favorite place in the whole world, Dune Point and second I will be partying at Cherry's On The Bay where world renowned DJ Susan Levine will be.
This weekend in Cherry Grove is Christmas. We celebrate all our winter Holidays in September on the famed island and my bags are packed and I am ready to go.
Susan Levine spins at all the top clubs up and down the east coast. Her talent with picking just the right music, you can not find anymore in the clubs of New York City, unless Susan is spinning. When Susan Levine is working, I watch her very closely, as I am always amazed observing her feel the crowd. She can sense what the people need. Just when you thought the music can't get any better, Susan will shock the crowd with another mix that sends everyone into a frenzy.
Susan is our Long Island girl. She attended Plainview- Old Bethpage/JFK High School and studied film at the University of Maryland in College Park. How she became such a huge DJ, is no surprise to me. Susan has the old style of Studio 54, where it took talent and a ear to get the nightclub moving. These days, the new DJ's are all about computers. Susan is all about music and the people.
