Last weekend, friends, family and east end Hamptonites gathered for a pre-event for the American Cancer Society’s Festive in Flip Flops Inaugural Hamptons Summer Bash at the Christopher Fischer Cashmere East Hampton boutique. The fashion designer, whose celebrity followers include Catherine Zeta Jones, John Mayer, Jessica Biel and Bette Midler, gave attendees a special 15 percent off their purchase from the Christopher Fischer collection, and 10 percent of the night’s proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society. Hosts of the night were co-chairs Sherri Abruzzese and Gopa Dobson, and VIP guests included Eleanora Kennedy, Anna Safir, and Joe Abruzzese. Throughout the night, guests were offered hors d'oeuvres from the Village Cheese Shop of Southampton and refreshing wine from Southampton’s Duck Walk Vineyards.
