StartupLife and LaughFiend Productions presented the first NY Tech Comedy Ball at the chic Greenhouse Lounge & Bar in the South Village on Wednesday, May 11th. The action-packed night was hosted by Emmy Award Winner Louie Torrellas, featuring an open bar event, as well as a live comedy show featuring comedians Dan Allen, Brooke Van Poppelen, and Ted Alexandros. Also on stage to perform was guest comedian Liam McMullan and the improv troupe Reply All. The event was also attended by some of the city’s best and brightest entrepreneurs and notable celebrity personalities including Luann De Lesseps from the Real Housewives of NYC, Steve Guttenberg, star of Police Academy as well as Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, founder of Fuel Outdoor, Melissa Meyers of Pagedaily.com, Safi Bahcall, Co-founder of Synta Pharmaceuticals, Sean Koh, Chairman and Founder of Koherent, and Cheni Yerushalmi, Jeffrey Gurian, Sunshine Suites, and DJs Mysto and Pizzi, just to name a few. Guests with VIP Passes were granted early access to this exclusive lounge and received a VIP gift bag filled with amazing cause-related items such as PeaceKeeper Cause-metics. The event also included snacks catered by Slice.
