ON TOURING WITH AVRIL LAVIGNE:
(Long pause) I don’t want to talk s**t. But she became very famous at a very young age. She’s a very private person. She’s not very outgoing. She always kept to herself. I don’t know if it’s that she’s unhappy. I just think she’s not a bubbly person. She’s very introverted. She would even put in her dressing room, little note reminders telling her to smile and be happy. That’s just who she is. Her music really fits her moods.
ON "JERSEY SHORE" AND SNOOKI:
I love MTV but I hate shows like “Jersey Shore.” I find it so mind numbing. I know it’s a reflection what society wants. I mean the show wouldn’t be so big if people didn’t watch it. So you can’t blame MTV for making it. They’re just giving the people what they want. But it still makes me sad to think people like that kind of stuff. As far as Snooki goes, it’s easy come, easy go. I’m not going to sit here and hate on someone. I do what I do and she can do what she does. I’m not a big fan of her, but who am I to judge?
