Volkswagen of America, Inc. unveiled its all-new 2012 EOS hardtop convertible during the Los Angeles Auto Show at the Design Center California in Santa Monica on Tuesday night. Jonathan Browning, President and CEO of the Volkswagen Group of America, invited Angelenos and international media to celebrate 20 years of Volkswagen Design and innovation as Volkswagen of America, Inc. recognizes the 20th Anniversary of the Design Center California. Special host Jessica Szohr joined the stage to help unveil the all-new 2012 EOS while other celebrities joined the celebration including Mark Salling, newly engaged couple Karina Smirnoff and Brad Penny, Bill and Giuliana Rancic, Gilles Marini, Kathy and Rick Hilton, Brittny Gastineau, and Anna Trebunskaya. Special moments included Jessica Szohr running into longtime friend Brittny Gastineau and Brittny realizing she does not have Jessica’s updated information and updating her blackberry and catching up.

Mark Salling rushed from the set of Glee to see the new EOS himself. “I would steal my dad’s Volkswagen and drive it around” he said. “I have been a fan ever since.”
