Sen Sushi Bar

Sen, a Sag Harbor hotspot offers a zen haven for Hamptonites and celebrities alike. Owned and operated by visionaries Tora Matsouka and Jeff Resnick, this East End jaunt stirs things up with delectable cuisine and sumptuous cocktails highlighted by an intimate and sleek décor. Sen’s cuisine is a pleasant mixture of contemporary and rustic Japanese fare. This East End eatery brings a piece of Japan to the quaint town with a vast menu that includes traditional and exotic sushi rolls such as the Orchid Roll (served raw with avocado, cucumber, scallion topped with sliced tuna and marinated wasabi stem); entrees like the Crab & Shrimp Dumplings (steamed house-made dumplings served with ponzu dipping sauce); tempura dishes, a variety of noodles and soups. Sen’s chief mixologist, Derek Nielsen shakes things up at the bar with twists on classic cocktails like the martini with the Nishi Martini (a pineapple infused vodka mixed with cointreau and creanberry). On Friday nights, sing your heart out at Karaoke night from 10:30 PM to 2:00 AM. When the kitchen closes on Wednesday and Saturday nights, Sen restaurant transforms into PTK Lounge with drink specials and guest DJs. Open for dinner nightly, and lunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit www.seninthehamptons.com.
