GOOD NEWS
Sort of, many attorneys and private investigators have been flooded with cases of criminals who have been convicted of narcotic related crimes because allegedly a NYPD lab technician falsified lab results .Prosecutors are scrambling to answer appeals by jailhouse lawyers and real lawyers who want their cases overturned because of this allegation. This results in many cases being retested by other lab technicians or sending this out to independent labs for testing. This is going to cost the tax payers a lot of money that is scarce these days.

When the Obama Health Care Bill kicks in the government will need many private investigators to look into the fraud that will accompany this program. Whenever a new program is established there will be who will try to capitalize on it.
BAD NEWS, BUT GOOD NEWS FOR DEADBEAT DADS
Some investigators have complained that they get cases of dead beat dads by ex-wives and girlfriends who have children and are not being cared for financially . I have tried to handle some of these cases but the women usually don’t have money to hire an investigator and the Family Court does little or nothing about this. The Support Enforcement division is either too busy or inept to locate the jobs of these individuals and relies on payroll wages to locate them electronically. Most of these fathers we locate are working off the books and a surveillance or other “creative devices” are needed to bust them. I am sick and tired of these men fathering children and not paying support . Case in point.
WORKS OFF THE BOOKS
Richie ( not his real name) is a white male 40 years of age In good health with blue collar skills . He can work in different fields such as laborer in construction , truck driver, bartender and many other areas of employment. He has 7 children with five different women. One daughter is 20 years old and is ready to get married( to someone not like her father I hope). He has gone to jail for non support for twenty days in total and works off the books. When he does work he is a union laborer makes good money but, hates to give it up.When we have documented that he is working the Support Unit is too slow to do anything and we have to depend the mother(s) to go to court and try to enforce the Court’s directive.
The Judges have to be stricter in enforcing these laws!
