A hop skip and a jump from where we are staying at Resorts Hotel And Casino is The Irish Pub in Atlantic City. This pub has been raved about by almost everyone who has ever walked inside. Called by some major magazines, "America's Greatest Watering Hole," the pub is one place you don't want to miss when in fun filled Atlantic City. Right off the Boardwalk, beach and casinos, The Irish Pub in Atlantic City also features a beautiful Victorian Inn with rooms starting at $20 per night.
Recently voted "Best Cheap Eats" by Atlantic City Magazine, they offer great lunch and dinner specials plus a large selection of beer including Harp, Bass, Killian's, Murphy's and Yuengling on draft. We have been wanting to stop by this place for years. Since my beautiful suite at Resorts Hotel And Casino gives us a clear view of this place, we could wait any longer to visit this Atlantic City institution. We got on the phone with Trump Taj Mahal's Mary Moyer, and faster than a pot of gold we were sitting in this Irish wonderland. The Irish Pub is another world. The food is cheep and amazingly great. The drinks are also very inexpensive and the service is just the best. We were lucky to catch owner Cathy Burke on this night, and this lady is such a doll.
We got a call from New York nightlife king and actor Keith Collins and actress Theresa Galeani, who just happened to be on the famed boardwalk, and they promptly came over to join our happy party. No other Irish Pub in the United States can beat this place. You are transformed into another world and believe it or not, it never closes. The Irish Pub is open 24 hours a day. That's right, in Atlantic City the party never stops.
