Jessica Simpson, Real Housewives of NYC's Kelly Bensimon, Royal Pain's Reshma Shetty, Ugly Betty's Mark Indelicato, Howard Stern's wife and model Beth Ostrosky, designer Isaac Mizrahi and more came out for some shoe shopping last night, to support breast cancer research at QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" in New York City. QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) joined forces to broadcast QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale," a charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education. The sale (which went live on QVC), in honor of breast cancer awareness month, brought out New York's celebrities, socialites and fashionistas to buy fabulous shoes at HALF the manufacturer's suggested retail price. In addition to the October 13th scheduled broadcast, shoppers may contribute to the cause by purchasing the "Shoe of the Day," offered each weekday throughout the month of October on QVC from 7 AM to 9 AM (ET). A special collection of shoes will also be available online, at QVC.com, beginning October 1 and continuing throughout the month, while supplies last. Jessica Simpson, the 2009 QVC Presents FFANY Shoes on Sale PSA Spokesperson, is unveiling her collection of shoes, accessories and handbags on QVC on October 19. Jessica wore a Dolce and Gabbana dress and Jessica Simpson shoes. Jessica, who just returned from a trip to Morocco, said that she doesn't listen to what people say about her and is confident that she is "beautiful inside and out." She said "I believe I am beautiful; my parents have always instilled self-confidence in me and no matter how many people try to get me down I always pick myself back up." She went on to say that her trip to Morocco helped her appreciate beauty of all kinds, shapes and sizes. Jessica's mom was by her side throughout the event; the mom and daughter pair tried on shoes together, laughed and had fun shopping for a great cause. Young actor and Ugly Betty star, Mark Indelicato, brought his mom as his date to the event. He helped her try on shoes.He had to leave early to take the PSAT. Kelly Bensimon tried on every pair of shoes in the salon. She left with a pair of Valentino's that she is planning on wearing on the set of Housewives during filming. Beth Ostrosky, who wears a size 12 in shoes, said that she is lucky just to find a pair of shoes that fit her and was thrilled to find the room filled with many shoes in larger sizes for her to stock up on.
