RANDY QUAID WANTS ALL CHARGES DROPPED

Randy Quaid And Wife Evi

Troubled former actor Randy Quaid and his wife have allegedly refused to settle an outstanding hotel bill in full, unless the resort owners agree not to press charges against them. Randy and his wife Evi are accused of racking up a $10,000 debt during a stay at the luxury San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California in June. The pair was arrested in the actor’s native Texas yesterday after a judge issued a felony warrant against them. They each posted $20,000 bail and were released last night. TMZ.com reports the Quaids have since paid part of the disputed amount, but still owe $5,000. And the couple, who face charges for allegedly burglarizing and defrauding the hotel owner, is said to be holding back the remaining cash until bosses decide not to pursue any legal proceedings. Meanwhile, Evi Quaid reportedly verbally attacked the cop who arrested her, after tracking him down in his police station in Marfa, Texas today. Deputy James Davis of Presidio County Sheriff’s Office claims Quaid accused him of being "a crooked, corrupt cop" with "a plot against her and her husband" during a "psychotic episode". The cop alleges Evi followed him into the station and threw a handwritten statement at him, accusing him of setting her and her husband up.
