Singer Mary J. Blige is denying rumors that she’s gosig to replace former judge Paula Abdul on American Idon. Mary was booked as a guest panellist on the singing competition after Abdul’s departure last month. The producers have also gotten Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Shania Twain and Neil Patrick Harris to critique contestants alongside original judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the upcoming season. However, Mary is insisting that she’s not considering taking a permanent spot on the hit television show. She tells the New York Daily News, "I’m not gonna be the next Paula Abdul. There was, maybe, three women that were incredible and three guys. The rest of it? A lot of it was like, "You can’t be serious!"
