Chace Crawford's Bodyguards Or Friends Push Photographers Away

We at Times Square Gossip do not like writing really mean stories. In fact, we consider our site to be very celebrity friendly. Most of the celebrities we photograph, we also hang out with. But yesterday at Bridgehampton Polo I was shocked at the way 'Gossip Girl' Chace Crawford, acted towards the New York photographers and his fans. With stars Like Kyle MacLachlan who posed with his beautiful wife and new child to Star Jones who looked wonderful as she posed with her favorite pet dog. Every celebrity that was at this great event, posed and signed many autographs. Leighton Meister also from Gossip Girl along with Beth Ostrosky Stern were wonderful to the New York Press and their fans.

Now last year, Chace Crawford was at this event. Not many people knew who he was then. He was pretty new in the business. The New York Press was wonderful to him last year. They photographed him and put his photos worldwide. They wrote nice things about him. He was nice and posed for every picture he could. He did interviews and worked the party to further his career. Now that the press has helped him to his fame, he treats them like crap. Chace Crawford is now a primadonna. Yesterday I felt so bad for my fellow press people. Chace who was also celebrating his birthday, was rude and down right mean to the photographers and fans who were at the event. He spent all of his time In the VIP tent by the bar. I didn't see him sign any autographs. The people he was with kept telling the celebrity snappers that he would do a photo in a little while. After around two hours, a press rep. for the event, tells the media that Chace will pose for a photo at 6:15pm. This after all the photographers waited in the almost 90 degree weather outside the VIP tent to get a shot of this loser for hours. So a while later, Chace surrounded with his bodyguards gets up, and leaves. The snappers who tried to get the shot, got pushed and shoved. One photographer's camera was thrown to the ground, and this guy was shooting for Times Square Gossip. After all the great and nice stories Times Square Gossip has done on Chace, he allows his entourage to act in this manner?

The photos my photographers and I take for Times Square Gossip, also appear in magazines and television shows worldwide. We are always polite, and always have a big smile on. I kept telling my photographers to forget the Chace Crawford photo, that he was not that important to anyone, and to just roam the event and have fun. But, being the die hard photographers they are, they wanted to wait and try to get the shot. Not only them, but the photographers from every New York Newspaper were treated just as bad. If Chace did not want to pose for any photos, why would he show up at such a big press event. It does not make any sense. He should have stayed in New York City. Every celebrity knows that Bridgehampton Polo is a huge media event. If you do not want to pose for photos, stay home.

I did not wait for any photo. I could have cared less. I roamed the VIP tent and hung out with my celebrity friends, who have class. I had a wonderful day. Chace should remember one thing. If the media stops writing and photographing him, no television show or movie company will hire him, because it's all about the press their project will get, so they will make money. It's time for the press to boycott Chace Crawford until he grows up!

They are a dime a dozen. He is trying out his fame this year thinking he is the cat's meow; next year or two, he will be history and begging for some PR.

You have seen it before and you know it is true.

I won't even watch him now. To think he acts this way now. I also agree that the media makes these people famous. He stinks !

He was not nice. The New York Post even backed us up on Tuesday. Polo is not a place to act like a diva. It is the place for everyone to have drinks and to pose and talk to the media in a friendly setting. It has always been this way. There are no diva's at Bridgehampton Polo. The event is the place for the movers and shakers of the New York Press to have a great time with the celebrities they write about. Everyone is friendly and everyone poses for a quick photo. He had a birthday party that night, so he did enjoy his birthday. There was no reason for him to be at a press event if he wanted to be alone. Chace Crawford has now ended up on the S**T list by many in the New York Media. Was it worth it?

Sometime people like to spend their time smooth and be alone. I think he didnt want anybody to disturb him and so the press came and disturubed him so that why he was rude. he is actually a nice guy.
