Tony Visconti With Miki Singh

When the visionary record producer Tony Visconti showed up last night at The Singhs show at Piano's -on Ludlow Street in Lower Manhattan- he broke-the-news that he is producing the Boston's-band next CD. Visconti, who has produced a regal group of acts, including T. Rex; Bowie; the Moody Blues; Gentle Giant; Sparks; Mary Hopkin (who he was married to), the Dandy Warhols; Badfinger; Boomtown Rats; Rod Argent;The Strawbs; Tom Paxton; Thin Lizzy; Iggy Pop; Wings; and, many, many more (www.tonyvisconti.com), started working with the band this week and will continue through July 2nd. The band played most of their current CD Supersaturated (RedStar), and one old track "She Hates It", which sounded like a stone-cold smash .... maybe Mr. Visconti will update it! Seen also in the packed room was their manager Art Edelstein; their PR-man David (The Pasha) Salidor; and, Keith Girard from The Improper.
