PEREZ HILTON FILES BLACK EYED PEAS SUIT

Gossip queen Perez Hilton is sticking to his word. He has filed a lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas tour manager following an altercation at an awards show in Canada. Polo Molina was charged with assault after handing himself in to cops in Toronto, Canada after his Sunday night clash with Hilton following the Much Music Awards.The fight came after will.i.am confronted Hilton over his gossip blog attacking band mate Fergie and their latest record "The E.N.D." Hilton is insisting he was the innocent party in the incident, and threatened to take legal action against his alleged attacker. And on Wednesday, Hilton filed documents suing Molina for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking damages of more than $25,000. Hilton's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, says in a statement, "Perez Hilton was assaulted by the band's road manager because he would not agree to stop writing about the Black Eyed Peas on his Web site Perezhilton.com. "Whether you love Perez or hate him, he is entitled to his freedom of speech without fear of physical violence. This lawsuit will make the statement that violence is never the answer."
