JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS WILL HEAD TO COURT

Sexy Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers will appear in a Parisian court in September to face accusations he punched a waiter during a drunken rant at a French airport. Meyers was handcuffed by police officers at the Charles DeGaulle airport in Paris on Saturday after he allegedly hit the man and challenged police to a fight. The actor reportedly threw euros at the officials, before shouting, "You wanna hit me? Hit me!" He was later released from custody after several hours in detention in a Paris police station. According to French news sources, Meyers will have to attend a court hearing on charges of "willful violence, outrage, hitting and threatening death" in the autumn.
