More than 300 people filled the beautiful new Grand Ballroom at the Plaza Hotel for the Sixth Annual “Authors In Kind” Luncheon to benefit God’s Love We Deliver. The event's creator, Linda Fairstein, God's Love Board Member, lawyer, legal expert and author of the best-selling crime novel, Killer Heat, emceed the very moving program and talked about her current thriller, “Lethal Legacy.” This year’s program featured three very special authors: Wally Lamb “The Hour I First Believed”; William D. Cohan “House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street and Guilia Melucci “I Loved, I Lost, I made Spaghetti.” God’s Love We Deliver’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, woman and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-altering illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. They prepare and deliver meals to people unable to provide for themselves and offer illness specific nutrition education and counseling free of charge regardless of income.
