ON ELIOT SPITZER AND PROSTITUTION:

In fairness, my prostitution scandal and Spitzer's are light years in difference. Back then it wasn't considered such a horrible thing. It was just considered an hour with a woman I shouldn't have been with. It was clearly wrong. But it wasn't like my political career was based on going after these people and arresting them. Plus, I was the one that told about it. With me it was more of a joke. People would ask, “Why didn't you just resign? Why did you tell anyone?” But we're talking 40 years ago. I was 28 years old. Things were a lot different. So it's not like something I over came. Let's not build it out of proportion.

ON BILL O'REILLY, SEAN HANITY AND RUSH LIMBAUGH... AND FOX NEWS:

I think what this election showed is that people like O'Reilly, Hanity and Limbaugh have virtually no impact on our politics. None! And they had no impact before this election and I'll tell you why. They use an old medium. TV and radio is irrelevant to young people. Listen, if talk radio had any impact on our society, John McCain would not have been the candidate for the Republican Party. If those men had any impact on our society, you wouldn't have the impact of this election. The only people who listen to those shows are their own fans that love everything they say. They don't bring anybody new to the game. They're just entertainers. They have no impact on changing the political landscape. The people under 30 don't care what they say. They're more interested in texting, watching You Tube and their IPods. That's why Obama won the election. There's nobody under 30 listening to Sean Hanity. That person doesn't exist. People under 30 don't care about FOX Cable News.

WHY MAIN STREAM NEWS IS WORSE THEN HIS TV SHOW:

I always get a sense that people are looking. I know if I go out people are going to want a picture or talk to me. That's part of the job. I just adjust to it when I go out. Listen, I look at it this way. The news hurts people. They show the negative side of people without their permission. But I've never done that. Everyone who goes on my show is volunteering. But when I did the news for ten years I never asked people if it was okay to put them on TV. I didn't ask if a story was going to hurt their reputation, career or family. You just ran the story. The news makes money for exploiting and hurting people. It's a choice the people who report the news make. But with show business it's more, “Okay, everyone, here is the stage. Come on and talk about your life if you want. It's your business.”
Proudest moment?

ON SEAN PENN TAKING PHOTOS OF HIS KATRINA RESCUE:

That was wrong, wrong, wrong. You don't do that. Its just vanity on Sean Penn's part. It's all for the wrong reason. The greatest charity is when the person who you're giving to, doesn't know you gave. You're supposed to be giving to help, not to get praise.

ON FAME AND SUCCESS ALL BEING JUST LUCK AND NO TALENT:

I'm just a basic shelob. I'm not this hunk or great looking guy. I'm just a regular guy. But there are a lot of regular guys out there who sometimes get lucky. No celebrity is successful because they earned it. They got lucky. It's a gift. Do you think the best actors who are famous are the best actors? Of course not? They got lucky. It's all luck. If Bill Gates had been born in Ethiopia who would have been dead by the age of five. It's all luck.

ON "NOT" BEING REMEMBERED:

I don't want to be remembered. Nobody has a legacy. Nobody is remembered unless you were a President or Babe Ruth. Think about it? Nobody even remembers Jack Benny. Jack Benny! 20 years later, nobody is remembered.
