Troubles Chris Brown did not record a duet with Rihanna just days after he was charged with allegedly assaulting her, according to a new media report. Brown, who was arraigned this month, is facing two felony charges of assault and making criminal threats after a fight with Rihanna at a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles California on February 8th. The incident reportedly left Rihanna in need of medical treatment, but the couple was rumoured to have reconciled following the alleged altercation by making a new track together with the help of producer pal Polow da Don. A spokesperson for Don told MTV News the couple had completed the track earlier this week. But the song in question, Bad Girl, was actually a demo recording from last year that Brown and Rihanna had provided vocals on, according to
People.com. A source tells the website, "Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident… around August or September of 2008, Chris and Rihanna’s vocals were recorded as the reference vocals for this demo only. (But) the song was never conceived or intended to be a duet between them, and was later recorded by other artists."
