KANYE WEST FACES TWO YEARS IN PRISON
Rapper Kanye West faces a two-year prison sentence after the Los Angeles California City Attorney charged him with three criminal misdemeanors in connection with his attack on a paparazzo last year. The singer and his bodyguard were arrested at Los Angeles LAX airport in September after lashing out at a photographer, smashing his camera and hurling abuse at him as they were preparing to board a flight to Hawaii. On Wednesday, West was charged with vandalism, battery, and grand theft. His associate, Don Crowley, has been charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of battery and two counts of grand theft, according to Web site TMZ.com, which also caught the incident on tape. Crowley faces five years behind bars if convicted. Both men are scheduled for arraignment on April 14th.
