Television icon David Letterman has confirmed gossip reports that he married girlfriend Regina Lasko, while congratulating his friend Bruce Willis who also tied the knot over the weekend. Letterman exchanged vows with the mother of his son, Harry, in a courthouse ceremony near their ranch home in Montana on Thursday, according to Us Weekly magazine. And, according to fans, who were among the audience for the taping yesterday's The Late Show with David Letterman, the host confirmed the news live to the audience. During the show, which aired last night, Letterman apparently announced, "I hear Bruce Willis got married this weekend. There’s another wedding I’d like to mention. We got married in Montana. Went to the Justice of the Peace." Letterman also told fans the truck he, his wife and their five-year-old chose to get them to the wedding destination got stuck in the mud on the way to the courthouse. He explained he had to leave his stranded family with the vehicle and return to their house to pick up a car. He joked that he feared he would be late for his own wedding. He told the audience, "We think, ‘Well, somebody’ll come… Nobody comes along. It’s Thursday afternoon, who’s coming along? Zorro? "So I get out of the truck and I walk two miles back to the house… and the whole way, I’m thinking, ‘See, smart ass, see, see, you try to get married, this is what happens.’" This was Letterman’s second marriage.
