Carey Hart And Diana B.

The mood was warm and supportive as novice rock star Diana B. made her debut Wednesday at Wasted Space, Carey Hart's club in Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.Diana's performance was a gift of the Southern Nevada chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation with help from Baskow & Associates and their entertainment director, Shelle Hedrick along with the local Epicurean Foundation and KVBC-TV reporter Kendall Tenney. It was the 1,000th wish granted by the group. The 15 year-old Diana's wish was to be a rock star. So, with hair, make-up and wardrobe in place and accompanied by bodyguards, she walked into the club on a red carpet lined with screaming fans and a phalanx of photographers. Diana was introduced by Skip Martin, former lead singer of Kool and the Gang. Then her fans saw her do a three-song set accompanied by the John Minetti band. When the set was over — before Diana met her public for an autograph meet-and-greet — she was surprised onstage by Hart who presented her with a plaque from Pink — literally, a pink plaque — bearing one of Pink's broken guitars and a photo.
