For 10 years, Canon U.S.A. has come to Las Vegas to sponsor a Customer Appreciation Reception and golf tournament to benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.This years event, held in the Grand Ballroom of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino boasted a broad range of celebrity and corporate support. Celebrities included last year’s Best Actor Emmy®-winner Bryan Cranston, actor Steven Weber, musician Alice Cooper, Domenick Allen (Foreigner); Davy Jones (the Monkees); Skip Martin (former lead singer of Kool and the Gang who is now on his own); Rudy Gatlin (Gatlin Brothers); Kevin Sorbo (Hercules); sports greats Ed Marinaro, Rollie Fingers, Eddie Payton and Mark Rypien, as well as former astronaut Walter Cunningham.This diverse group — some of whom have been attending since the first year the event was held — gathered to support the cause. A silent auction featuring high-end and celebrity merchandise was presided over by Skip Martin.Along with Canon U.S.A., the event was hosted by Jaki Baskow, Chairman and CEO of Baskow & Associates, the largest destination management firm in Las Vegas and the only one headed by a woman.
