BOY GEORGE FORCED TO EVICT GOOD FRIEND

Former Culture Club singer Boy George has been forced to evict a DJ friend who is awaiting trial for rape after a judge ruled the house share was inappropriate given the singer’s own recent conviction for false imprisonment of a male escort. Boy George is facing a possible jail term when he is sentenced next week after he was found guilty of chaining a male escort to his bed at his London home in 2007. Boy George has let his friend Antony Marnoch - freed on $15,300 bail while he awaits trial for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old-boy in a public toilet use his residence as a address. Marnoch - who has DJed at private parties for stars including Madonna and Prince - has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and sexual assault and has been staying with O’Dowd since December 12th. But, after a tip-off from British tabloid The Sun, a judge at London’s Blackfriars court lifted reporting restrictions on the case and declared it "entirely unsuitable" that Marnoch stay with O’Dowd in his North London property. O’Dowd claims he let Marnoch stay with him so he could visit a nearby hospital for regular cancer treatment, saying, "That’s what friends are for."
