ANTONIQUE SMITH IS MORE THAN NOTORIOUS

In this weeks Steppin' Out magazine, (former "Rent" star) Antonique Smith who plays the part of Faith Evans in the smash hit film "Notorious", sits down with Chaunce Hayden and talks about the real Faith Evans.... what you don't know! And what about the "other" woman in Biggie Smalls life who wasn't mentioned in the film?

I was a big fan of her music. So I knew what the fans knew. But what we all took for granted, because all we saw was the drama between her and Biggie Smalls is that they really were in love with each other when they got married. She was writing songs for other people. She had money and an apartment and ended up moving in with his mother when they met. So that whole thing about her marrying for fame and money is such a huge misconception. He didn't have anything when they met. She was going to Brooklyn every day to hang out because he didn't have a car. Even when they broke up they still were working on getting back together. They still loved each other. She was just giving him a little time to grow up and he was doing what he needed to do to become a man. But it was too late. He died. That's what makes the story so tragic and sad. There was still hope they would work it out and some point. She was thinking they were going to get back together.
ON THE "OTHER" WOMAN IN BIGGIE SMALLS LIFE (NOT LIL KIM):
(MODEL TURNED RAPPER) Charlie Baltimore was also in Biggie's life, but we don't go into her story in the film. There's one scene where she's portrayed by an extra. But she's not an actually character in the movie. But she was definitely apart of Biggie's story. But having her in the film would have been too complicated. It would have been too many different story lines had they included Charlie Baltimore's relationship with Biggie as well.
