The Los Angeles California pet store which gets visits by both socialite Paris Hilton and Britney Spears is going to close following a puppy farm controversy. Pet Love has been a fixture in the Beverly Center mall for years, with many Hollywood stars shopping for pets in the store. But now shop bosses are moving out in January, following pressure from animal rights protesters, who wanted the company to sell only pet supplies and animals from shelters. Officials at welfare and rescue group Best Friends Animal Society claim the pet shop is among those in the city which sell animals born in inhumane puppy mills.
