Micky Dolenz who is in the next lineup of acts in CMT's GONE COUNTRY (Sheila E, Taylor Dane, Richard , George Clinton, Justin Guarini,and, Tara Connor) hits New York today for the week of advance press for the show which will debut on Saturday, January 24 on the cable net. Dolenz will hit the NY-premiere of Fox's THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL with Keanu Reeves, Jon Hamm, and Elizabeth Connelly, as well as Le Cirque; the Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS Gypsy event on Tuesday, and Premiere Radio. Dolenz said the two-week film stay in Nashville, where the series was filmed was terrific ... meetings new faces and making new alliances, which he says might progress in the future. "It was a great time, no question." And, he did say that George Clinton, of the famed Funkadelic, was "amazing!"
