PARIS HILTON CONFIRMS BENJI BREAKUP
Paris HiltonFormer reality show star Paris Hilton's publicist is confirming the socialite's split from rock star boyfriend Benji Madden. Rumors that the star parted ways with Madden started at the beginning of the week, after Hilton was snapped partying with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos in Miami, Fla. News of the break-up first surfaced in Star magazine, and now Hilton's representative Alanna McCarthy has spoken out about the rumors, simply stating that the couple will "remain very good friends." However, the couple, who had been dating for nine months, is still planning to ring in 2009 together, after they agreed to host Sydney, Australia's New Year's Eve celebrations.
