Mischa BartonHollywood star Mischa Barton has launched her own Web site, hoping to banish any false Internet rumors surrounding her very personal life. The actress is sick of misconstrued stories about her making their way on to the Web, and hopes the new site will let fans know the real truth. In a video message on the Web site, mischabarton.celebuzz.com, she says, "This is something I've really wanted for a long time, I'm just excited to have a real connection with my fans and put some truth out there." "I just think there's all kinds of misconceptions on the Internet these days and I really think that the Internet can be used for good and for bad and there's all kinds of crap that's written about me. "Half the time I look at the Internet and read these stories and they're just so outlandish and not true at all and I don't want my fans to have the wrong idea of who I am as a person."
