AIDA TURTURRO AND KAREN DUFFY'S DAY OUT

Tony Soprano's little sister Janice aka Emmy nominated Aida Turturro and her BFF model/actress and former MTV host Karen Duffy had a Girls Day Out as Aida showed her friend around her Hampton's favorite haunts starting with the historic village of Southampton . The pair brunched at celeb hotspot 75 Main owned by our favorite Hampton's buddy Tim Burke, where Brooke Shields, Calvin Klein and Robert Downey, Jr. chow down. Aida is a regular there and the staff adores her because she is so down to earth. After lunch, they shopped the posh boutiques on Jobs Lane and Main Street. Playfully, Aida dragged Karen out of the famous Fudge Company candy store as she is trying to keep in shape but finally relented to have just one little piece. New York actress Aida paid her dues with dozens of small but memorable character parts for over a decade before landing the role of a lifetime on "The Sopranos" in 2000. In 2007, she was honored with an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Tony's soul-searching, emotionally unpredictable sister for the show’s heavily publicized final season. A cousin of actors and brothers John and Nicholas Turturro, the actress also earned her stripes on the big screen, appearing in his films “Mac” (1990), “Illuminata” (1998) and “Romance and Cigarettes” (2005), but it was as Janice Soprano that Turturro truly mesmerized – holding her own, two-to-two opposite the intense James Gandolfini. She just completed shooting on the film Close Quarters and continues to guest star as Sheryl Hawkins on ER.
