The music icon was presented with the accolade by theatre impresario Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber during the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall. Cowell has amassed a multi-million dollar personal fortune from the success of his music publishing and television production company Syco, which is behind TV hits such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The X Factor. There seems to be no end to Cowell's huge talent in the music business.
