GUN CHARGE DROPPED AGAINST JERRY LEWIS

A light hearted judge in Las Vegas has dismissed a gun charge against famed comic Jerry Lewis. The television and movie icon was stopped by airport police in the city in July after they found an unloaded firearm in his luggage. Lewis was subsequently cited for carrying a concealed weapon without a valid permit. But now a judge has dropped the charge, agreeing not to impose a heavy fine on the 82-year-old legend. Lewis’ lawyer, Ross Goodman, described Friday’s resolution as "a good result for a great guy". The comedian insisted the weapon was a gift from an engraver which he had forgotten was in his bag.
Editors Note: Great Guy ? I guess the judge never met the jerk !
