FORMER STAR TATUM O'NEAL DRUG ARREST

Oscar-winning star Tatum O'Neal has been arraigned in a New York City court on charges of drug possession.The former movie star, who chronicled her recovery from a heroin addiction in her 2004 book A Paper Life, was arrested by NYC police yesterday night after she was spotted by a narcotics team exchanging money with a man three blocks from her home on the lower East side of Manhattan. Tatum, the troubled daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal, initially told cops she was "doing research for a part", according to a police source. She was arraigned on one misdemeanour charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in Manhattan Criminal Court on this morning. She has been released on her own recognisance and is next due in court on July 28th.

Editors Note: I have met Tatum quite a few times. First time was years ago at Lincoln Center and she was some very young toyboy. She was rude and he spat at us. Why bother going to a event if you don't want to be photographed. I feel bad for her, but she needs to grow up once and for all !
