Don't let the Coppola wines, (which are everywhere throughout the restaurant) mislead you - Coppola's restaurant has nothing to do with the film director, Francis Ford Coppola, beyond the fact that most of the Italian dishes are complimented with a glass or two of the red. The wines ARE from the Francis Ford’s California vineyards. With a menu of classic dishes such as veal scaloppini, fettuccine primavera, and antipasti, Coppola's is the place for you if you like both traditional and innovative Italian recipes, with special dishes designed to delight the discriminating diner. In 1998 Owner-Chef Salvatore Coppola opened the doors of Coppola's East in the Gramercy Park area of Manhattan to provide a more elegant style of his Northern Italian 'Comfort Food'. In addition to fantastic food and comfortable dining, Salvatore’s establishment offers professional and knowledgeable service, thin-crust pizzas, home-made pastas and desserts, plus extensive wine list. Almost everyone seems happy to finish their meal with home-made chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu, or another delicious treats from the dessert cart. Do try the Flambé with crepes and chocolate (prepared tableside). Coppola's has two locations - East and West, and offers delivery.
