
Hollywood's British star's Trudie Styler along with Bob Geldof and Liz Hurley helped raise $50 million for a children’s charity at a huge dinner in London on Thursday night.The annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) dinner at the Royal Navel College in London was organized by Uma Thurman’s businessman partner Arpad Busson to raise funds for the kids charity.The event attracted a host of well-known celebrities, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie, who were serenaded by legendary singer Stevie Wonder. Guests paid between $2,000 and $20,000 a-head to be seated at the charity dinner. British artist Damien Hirst auctioned off a painting at the event, which was sold for $18,000, with a speaking role in Thurman’s upcoming movie Eloise going under the hammer for $960,000 according to Britain’s the Daily Express.
