SINGER MARTHA REEVES HOME ROBBED
Singing icon Martha Reeves has been robbed of $1 million worth of uninsured recording equipment, following a robbery on her childhood home in Detroit, Michigan.The singer of Martha Reeves and the Vandellas was hit on Sunday night, after raiders kicked in the back door of the house, which is now owned by her father. The star claims speakers and microphones were among the items stolen.Reeves, 66, is now a member of Detroit Council, and revealed the robbery during a meeting about the police on Monday. She said, "I would cry if I wasn’t an adult. It’s a lifetime of saving and buying."My neighbors didn’t see a thing. People are out of work and taking what they can."
