RAPPING EX CON LIL KIM WINS LAWSUIT
Ex Con Lil Kim was awarded $500,000 yesterday after winning a lawsuit launched against a former good friend.The star filed suit against former Junior M.A.F.I.A. member James Lloyd - who testified against her in a criminal trial that led to her conviction for lying to a grand jury in 2005. Kim originally sought $6 million in damages for the unauthorised use of her name and image in a DVD about the rap group, produced by Lloyd’s company Ground Zero, to capitalize on her fame.The 32 year-old rapper was released from a Philadelphia prison in July 2006 after being sentenced to one year and one day for conspiracy and perjury regarding her relationship with friends involved in a 2001 New York City shooting.
