Desperate Housewives star Kyle McLachlan's wife Desiree Gurber is expecting a bouncing baby boy.The television actor will become a first-time father when his wife gives birth to the couple’s child this summer. McLachlan broke the news of the baby’s sex during a stint as guest host of Live With Regis & Kelly today. He said, "It’s a boy. I’ve got the golf clubs out already, so we’re going to make him into a little golfer." The couple is now on the hunt for a name for their upcoming arrival, though MacLachlan jokes wife Gruber has turned down his first choices.He laughs, "We’re trying to go through the name thing now. She shot down my first idea: Jethro. She didn’t like that idea." MacLachan adds of his second choice, "Being from Scotland, he could be like, Macintosh MacLachlan". The actor does have one strict rule: "You want a nickname that’s going to be cool."
