PRINCESS DIANA MOVIE HITS BRITISH TV

DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES’ former lover JAMES HEWITT has directed a film about his affair with the tragic royal, which will be screened on the eve of the 10th anniversary of her death.The former British Army officer, 49, has directed a docu-drama called My Way to be aired on British TV network Channel 4 in an attempt to convince viewers that he is not the cad he has been branded.The program will see Hewitt starring as himself in the final scene and claims that the couple reconciled seven months before her death in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997. A friend of Hewitt says, "James has always said he and Diana did actually speak again after many months of silence."James talks about this in the film and says that Diana called him, and went to see him."There’s one clip in which James reveals that in their final conversations Diana told him she was going to shock the world and ‘marry a big fat black man’. It’s pretty gripping stuff and it makes great television."
