Paris Hilton leaves CNN studios in California

Paris Hilton has been offered a $1 million-a-year contract to host a US local radio show. KDWB Radio - which broadcast to Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota - have offered the hotel heiress the six figure sum to co-host their morning show. Current host Dave Ryan said: "We need a co-host. She needs something to do. It's playing music and talking while sitting on a comfortable chair. There's very little stress or anxiety and absolutely no metal toilets!"KDWB's vice president Mick Anselmo said: "We're serious about it. It's just a matter of working out the details."The 26-year-old already has a career as a singer, actress and reality TV star and is president of three businesses - Paris Hilton Entertainment, Paris Hilton Enterprises and Heiress Records. She has her own signature perfume and jewellery line, fronts a mobile phone gaming service, had her autobiography on the best-seller list and also earns up to $200,000 for public appearances at parties and social events. She was listed on Forbes magazine's Top 100 Money-Earning Celebrities at number 56 last year with an estimated annual income of $7 million. Meanwhile, Paris - who was released from jail on Tuesday after serving 23 days for driving with a suspended licence - flew to Hawaii yesterday for a holiday. She travelled alone, disguised in a black wig and straw hat and is believed to be staying at a Maui resort. Before jetting out to the idyllic destination Paris took out a lease on a $2.9 million Malibu beach house for the summer.The 2,258 sq ft two bedroom house is described as being "right on the water", and has three bathrooms.'The Simple Life' star's parents Kathy and Rick Hilton, are reportedly planning to rent their own summer house nearby. Paris told US chat show Larry King on Wednesday she was doing a"couple of movies this summer".
